    Bio

Edge of Grey is Mark Landucci and David J. Marshall.

Born from the analog dreams of the 80s, two young musicians, united by a shared passion for music, began their sonic journey in the confines of their parents' basements. Armed with synthesizers, sequencers, a drum machine, and a relentless creative spirit, they laid the foundation for what would become Edge of Grey.
While classical piano training provided a solid base, their true love lay in the emerging world of electronic music. As they delved deeper into their craft, they expanded their sonic palette to include acoustic and electric guitars, allowing for a more diverse and expressive sound.
The duo's early experiments, under the moniker Fresh Ground, yielded a collection of catchy tunes that hinted at their potential. However, life's demands intervened, and the project was temporarily put on hold.
Reunited in the early 2000s, they embarked on a new chapter, creating a darker, more intricate sound that showcased their growth as musicians and songwriters.
The challenge of finding the perfect vocalist led them to explore a new direction: instrumental music. With a focus on evocative melodies and intricate arrangements, they released a collection of instrumentals paired with poetic lyrics, inviting listeners to create their own interpretations.
A fortuitous encounter with a talented vocalist breathed new life into the project, and the band recorded a series of songs that showcased their ability to blend powerful vocals with their signature instrumental style.
Which leads us to 2025 and their debut, full-length album, dissolve. Containing 9 tracks that showcase the depth and maturity of their craft.
Edge of Grey continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of their sound and captivating audiences with their unique blend of electronic, rock, and experimental music.
